Current Seattle Supersonic, and former KU superstar, Nick Collison, is back for his second stint with JJD Sports!! This year's camp is going to be a little different than our past two because we are going to be running sessions instead of a full day camp. 6th-8th graders will start the day off from 9am-12pm, with the 3rd-5th graders finishing things up from 1pm-4pm. Camp sign-up has now started so be sure to reserve your spot right away because we expect a great turnout for this camp. The "Early Bird" discount will give you a chance to sign-up early to save money off your camp fee. 6th-9th Graders: 9am-12pm 3rd-5th Graders: 1pm-4pm First 20 campers in each age group receive free Rawlings basketball!!

The 2006 JJD Sports Basketball Camp featuring Nick Collison is for young players of all skill levels who wish to have fun, and improve their game. Campers will be grouped together according to age and skill level to ensure maximum exposure to the proper competition each day at camp. With this year's camp broke into sessions, the environment will be even more focused and intense. There will be a strong emphasis on learning the fundamentals and proper techniques, as well as learning the value of teamwork.
What Campers will Get out of Camp Campers will receive instruction from former KU star, and NBA Lottery pick, Nick Collison!! We will also have other special guests, which will be named very soon. There will also be some of the area's top high school and college coaches on the staff for the young athletes to learn from. Each camper will also have the opportunity to get Nick's, and the other special guests' autographs, as well as take pictures. There will also be awards given out, as well as a t-shirt for every participant. In addition, the first 20 campers of each age group will receive a brand new Rawlings basketball!!

The JJD Basketball Camp is not an overnight camp so housing is not provided. For out of town participants we will have a special rate set up at a local hotel. Keep checking back for more details.

During the course of the week we plan to have different skills competitions, games, and speakers
Nick will be at the camp to work with the young athletes for the last two
days, as well as talk to them about his experience
Each athlete will need to wear proper basketball attire to camp each day. Shorts, t-shirt or tank
